Meet me, Frankie Kemp—your guide to stepping out of the mundane and into the extraordinary. With a history of running drama schools for adults and children my journey is anything but conventional.
With a decade of improv experience, I've honed the art of thinking on my feet, including performing in immersive theatre experiences in London and Turkey, where I also directed and wrote the script for the Eurovision presenters. (Not the songs so don't string me up.)
I'm an award-winning comedy sketch writer and actor, who's appeared on TV, in films and in theatre. Should you be curious, all the acting stuff is parked here.
Join Frankie in Actuate's daytime drama workshops and discover how to lighten up your life with creativity, connection, and a bit of whimsy.
Unless you'd rather be typing emails and doing the chores...who am I to stop you?

It’s not about appearing at the National Theatre (although you’ll learn some of what they’ve learned). It’s centres on having fun in a group through acting exercises.
Although my aim is that you'll love it, there are no guarantees.
The aim is that you'll love the course but everybody is different. If you've paid for the course and decide it's not for you, email me on frankie@frankiekemp.com within the first 24 hours of the class you attended and I'll refund you £18 (so you'd only have paid for the booking fee). This applies to the first class only. For subsequent classes, there's no refund if you decide it's not for you. This is valid for those who've paid for the course. If you've paid for an individual session there are no refunds.
Life happens with work throwing up curve balls and emergencies coming up. We ask that you endeavour to make as many of the weeks as possible so that you get the most out of the course but it is absolutely fine if this is not possible. You’ll need to contact, me, Franky Kemp if you're running late or can't attend a lesson.
This allows for class activities to be based around attendees without disruption.
We cannot take money off fees for missed weeks. We have deliberately kept fees as low as possible so that any missed weeks won’t have too much of an impact. All venues, teachers and running costs still have to be paid regardless of absences.
